Wards D1 and D2 MAU
Here at Bolton our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We ensure our patients receive the highest quality of Care and are guided by our trust Values. This is reflected in our latest CQC report. It is also supported by our Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Framework for Professional Practice.
There are exciting opportunities (Full and Part Time) to join our highly motivated, dynamic and hardworking team within the acute adult care division, if you want to develop your nursing skills and are a team player then this could be the job for you.
The unit is very busy and fast paced caring for patients with varying degrees of physical, social and mental health needs. Patients are referred to the Medical Assessment Units primarily from the Accident and Emergency Department and GPs referrals The patients that come to the unit have a variety of acute and emergency medical conditions.
The Department of Acute Medicine is committed to staff development and we offer modules for both junior and senior staff to aid their progression. We also offer a comprehensive preceptorship package and have a band 5 development package with rotational opportunities. Staffs are supported during each of their shifts by an excellent team of nurses and each shift is led by a band 6 team leader to further support staff and decision making within the unit. With the help of our supportive teams we can facilitate a safe and comfortable transition for new and exciting learning and development.
We are therefore looking to recruit motivated, hardworking nurses who have excellent communication skills & a passion for their role and improving patient care When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide clinically excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and other MDT members. As a Registered Nurse you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient centred care in a supported environment.
We aim to build on your core foundation nursing skills and support you beyond. We are looking for individuals to join us in providing specialised, holistic and personalised treatment for patients at all stages of their recovery.
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and develop then consider a role working within the assessment areas at Royal Bolton Hospital. Informal visits are welcome. Please contact-
